The Automated Trading Paradigm
Many people have yet to learn about Automated Trading. For them, it is some strange, mysterious new technology that is largely unproven. We believe that, like many new technologies, Automated Trading will become as mainstream and normal as email or cell phones.
Automated Trading systems use Artificial Intelligence to buy and sell stocks and other assets. The goal is to make money over time. The interesting (and powerful) aspect of this technology is that the profits are determined by the skill of the Artificial Intelligence programming. And this skill will increase as the technology develops and improves.
So this raises an interesting question. Are there any limits to the amount of money that can be made through Automated Trading? We don’t have the answer to this question yet. There should be some limits, but I expect that they will be so high that it will not matter. Perhaps the situation will be similar to how computers have become so powerful that we rarely use the computing horsepower that we have available to us.
The change in paradigm will create a shift in human consciousness. Consider the world today, compared to just 15 years ago. Due to the low cost of the Internet and phone communications, the world is perceived as a much smaller place today. A similar and more powerful shift will occur as Automated Trading becomes a standard way to invest. People will discover that money is unlimited. The common scarcity mentality popular today, the idea that there just isn’t enough money, will simply disappear like coin operated pay phones.
Many people think that Automated Trading is just a dream. 15 years ago, and the Internet was just a dream. 10 years ago, streaming video to everybody on the Internet was just a dream. 5 years ago, the iPhone was just a dream. Accelerating Technology and faster computers have made all of these possible. And we think the same will happen for Automated Trading.
